And then again, there's just pure dumb luck.
But you can control some things. Like what holds you back and what doesn't.
And so, here are the top 10 things that hold you back in life.
10. Laziness/Procrastination
"I don't want to do it!"
"I'm too lazy!"
"I don't feel like it!"
We've all heard and even said some form of those phrases before. If you haven't, I don't know what world you live in, but feel welcome to visit Earth sometime!
Anyways, procrastination and laziness, while it feels good, it holds you back because you wouldn't do anything until the last second, and preparation is always good for success.

9. Uncreative
Well, you've got to be imaginative in order to come up with good ideas that aren't cliche! And this helps with inventions too!
8. Distractions
A new song? Some new toy or anything interesting? If you get too distracted, you'll end up wasting a lot more time than you originally anticipated.
7. Excuses
If you didn't do something, just say you didn't do it. Don't make some lame excuse up.
6. Lack of motivations
This is kind of like being lazy. But if you want to succeed in something, you can't just wish that you do good or win or whatnot. You have to work for it. Everything has a price, and the price for success is work.
5. No respect
Respect towards others is really important because it's good to have people like you and not the opposite. I mean, if you had to fire either a really mean but pretty smart person that everyone hates, or a really nice person that everyone likes and is an okay worker, you would most likely fire the mean person. Unless if you are obsessed with money. That's a whole different issue...
4. Zero responsibility
You have to know the who, what, when, why, where, and how. If you aren't responsible enough, you can loose track of what you have to do, and then you start falling behind. That's not good. To be successful, be responsible not only for your work, but also for your words, actions, etc.
3. Disorganization
This is pretty self-explanatory. If you aren't organized, you could lost important documents, have difficulties looking for things, or plan poorly and go to the wrong place at the wrong place for the wrong person... Etc.
2. Being too worried
Stress is bad. It's unhealthy, and it makes thinking more difficult. Stress just controls you sometimes. Don't let that happen.
1. Fear
Fear for the next step.
Fear of risks.
Fear of change.
Fear of anything is only to be expected. We are all humans (unless if you aren't, then coolio.). You'd have to be thoughtless and feeling-less if you don't fear anything. Fear keeps you from doing amazing things, and if you don't the next step, the risk, or make the change, you never know what good things could have happened. Obviously, if the next step was off a cliff, the risk was on your life, and the change was for the worse, then that is reasonable. But if the next step seemed to lead to a brighter place, the risk offering great rewards with little loses, and the change was for the better, stop fearing, and get on with your path!
So peeps, there it is. The top 10 things holding you back.
