I'm sorry I didn't post anything yesterday. My Chromebook was acting up and it wouldn't let me publish this post. Again, sorry for the lack of posts. This is what I would've posted...
Recently, there have been two deaths of students who go to my school.
A moment of silence, please.
I think that high school is pressuring. Socially, athletically, and most of all, academically. How to juggle them all?
There's the popularity. People who count their friends and bully their way to the top.
There's the athletic ability. Can you play sports? Are you any good at them?
And then the most obvious, academics. How well can you make your grade to be? Are you failing? Do you need to stay up all night just to study? Is it too pressuring for you? Do you need to drop down a level?
All these things contributing to stress. I think that everyone perfectly juggling these three factors should be given an award. Just not to the bullies. Bullying = not cool. No one likes you. Everyone's just afraid of you. I don't like being bullied. Joking's okay though. A prank or two. But if it gets to the point where you do it to someone else everyday? That's bullying. That's mean. Just stop it.
Back to the pressure. People should really just stop sometimes and think about their lives. And don't say you don't have one. Unless if you are a ghost reading this post. That would be awesome. ANYWAYS, it clears your mind to think about the factors of stress. Of course, it could just make you even more stressed so...
But it does, for me, organize my life better. Like, this time = sports. Another time = friends. Another time = academics, etc. It helps to keep a mental calendar too. Stay on top of your events. If you can't handle all of your school work and extra-curriculars, then you have to quit some of those activities. Sorry to break that to you. Being stressed isn't healthy. Neither is not sleeping.
Oh yeah! And you can play with those stress balls that break... Easily... Yeah, cross that. Go get some socks and roll them into a ball and make that your stress ball. When you're angry, you can just take a sock and throw it at your wall or something. Helps take off stress and the anger. Ooh! You can also exercise. Unless if you're being stressed by your sports' schedule. Then you shouldn't exercise. You should, I don't know, watch some TV and RELAX! I have this friend who does absolutely everything. And she's an amazing student. And she's awesome in running. Don't know her trick for this though...
MAYBE THE MAGICAL WORLD DIDN'T DESTROY EVERY TIME-TURNER AND MY FRIEND HAS THE LAST ONE!
WHOA.
THAT WOULD BE COOL.
