I'm taking this class called AP Language and Composition (APLAC) in my school, and the assignment I have is to just write once a day for four-ish weeks. It doesn't have to be long, but it can't be too short either. I just have to write for ten, twenty minutes. So, I thought, ISN'T THIS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO POST MORE?
I know, I know! Don't get too excited, you loyal readers. Haha. I really can't believe that some people still read this thing with my horrible posting consistency and all. Who knows. Maybe I'll become more consistent after this four-week period. Maybe I'll be RESPONSIBLE.
It's actually kind of funny. I guess I'll dedicate this post to this blog's existence.
I remember how my friend, Ana from Butterflies of the Imagination convinced a group of my friends to start a blog when we were in eighth grade. My, was she persistent. We all caved eventually, because, I mean, why not, right? So we began blogging.
I didn't know what the purpose of a blog was. Or what to blog about. I honestly still don't know. It's more of just me saying whatever comes to mind. And usually those just turn into stories about me or rants or about the most randomest things. But no matter what my posts are about, I always use my own words and I always am truthful. No kidding. I don't make up stuff for more readers. I find that pointless and superficial. I know that only a few of my readers actually know me, and those are my closest friends. I can tell them, well, ANYTHING, really. So I'm never afraid of just saying what I need to say.
Throughout the years, I've been trying to improve my blog. I've changed the whole format of this blog multiple times. It's not the most interesting theme, I know, but I hope I get points from you readers for trying and for the words I type. I've set up weekly posts to try to get myself to post more consistently. We all know how that went. Maybe I should start something up again. I liked the whole "Quote of the Week" and "Song of the Week" madness. Those were actually kind of fun, but they took so long to type out, haha. Well, anything can happen within these four weeks. Yes, I am trying to get your hopes up. I want you all to have these expectations so I'll guilt-trip myself/have a better sense of responsibility to posting more to this blog.
Thanks for riding this one out, guys. I'll do my best to do better. I won't let you guys down!
If anyone has suggestions to what I should post, please please PLEASE comment! Don't worry, I only bite my food. I want to interact with and get to know my readers more, so don't be shy! Comment! Ask questions! Thanks again, peeps.
