If you ever do oil painting, you'll realize that the right amount of oil always creates the best oil. I have a question, because I'm currently working on a piece and I cannot cover up this one section. How much oil do you use to paint over another section that has been already painted?

hmm.... I never really have a strict rule for how much oil I add. Usually, I put little to none- if it's a mixture with lots of white, I usually add some so that it's not so thick, because (and I don't know if this is just with my paints) white paint is always really thick for me.

I fixed the problem! I just added more white to make it thicker (it's not just your paints) and I made the color into the color I wanted it to be, and I applied that color over to make a new layer, and voila! It was done!
